Activating ORO POS License
After purchasing the license from pos.orocube.com/pricing/ you can activate the ORO POS license in the following ways.
- Activate the license using the license file.
- Activate the license using the purchase order.
Activate the license using the license file
Once you purchase the license, please provide us the 32 digit terminal key. You can get the terminal key from the back-office–>help–> about–> copy the 32 digits long terminal key and send it to any of your open tickets in our helpdesk or mail it to email@example.com with the order number. Please, send us the terminal key from the same email address that you used to purchase the license. Orocube never sends a terminal key to any other email address other than the one used for purchasing the license.
If your terminal license already expired, after restarting you will see the terminal key right on the POS screen. Just copy the terminal key and send it to us.
Please send us the terminal key only. Do not send any pictures. Terminal key is very confidential. Even space or a letter missing will not generate the actual license.
Once you send us the terminal key, we will generate a terminal license for you and will send the license file. Please, download the license file and restart your POS. After restarting click on “I have license” and then “Import License” to use the license file we have provided.
Now, the license will be activated automatically.
If your license has not expired and you want to update your license to enjoy the uninterrupted service, you can update the existing license easily from the back office. Please go to the back office–> help–> about–> license info–> update license
This will take you to the update license page where you will be able to activate or update the existing license using our license file or order number.
Activate the license using the purchase order
Once you send us the terminal key, we will send you a license file. Every license file has its purchase order number. For some reason, if you lose your license file you can still activate/update your terminal license by order number. Please click on “Activate online” and provide the purchase order number and activate the license.
Please note, before activating the license with the purchase order number, you must have to send orocube the terminal key and the purchase order number.
Activating plugin licenses
Plugin licenses can be activated in the following two ways.
- Activating all the licenses together.
- Activating the plugin licenses individually.
Activating all the licenses together
After activating the ORO POS license, the POS will ask to activate the plugin license. If you purchased the plugin license with the POS license, you can activate them one after another using the license file. Once you will send us the terminal key, we will send you the license files based on your purchase order. Please use the right license file for the right plugins. All the license file has its name attached to the license file.
If you don’t have plugin licenses, you can click on “Do not show this message again”–> continue with default to skip this part.
Activating the plugin licenses individually
On the other hand, If you purchase the plugin licenses later. You can activate them individually. Please provide us the terminal key and the purchase order number. We will send you the license file. With the license file, you can activate the license using the license file or the purchase order number. Simply go to back-office–>select the plugin you want to activate–> about–> activate–> use the license file to activate or use the purchase order number. Now, your plugin license will be activated automatically.
Please note: If your plugin license doesn’t activate automatically please go to your root folder and check the plugin folder. If you don’t see the plugin you are trying to activate has no such jar file inside, please send us an email to get the plugin file. You can also download the POS from our website to get the full version with all the plugins inside. Once you have the plugin folder inside, please restart the ORO POS and activate the plugin license.
