Paid, Closed and Open Ticket status

Following flow diagram explains differences between Open, Paid, Closed ticket. 

Open ticket

Ticket is available to edit and has not received full payment. 

Paid ticket

 This means ticket has received full payment but customer may have not received service. Example is, customer ordered over phone for home delivery and waiting for home delivery. 

Closed ticket

This means ticket has received full payment and has received the service. Ticket can be closed automatically or manually. In Case of one shot payment like Take out or Retail, full payment receive will automatically close the ticket. 

 

Paid ticket edit

Paid tickets are not editable in Floreant POS. However ORO POS allows editing on paid ticket.
